I'm New Here

Welcome. You're in the right place.

If you’re here, chances are something doesn’t feel quite right—and you may not know where to start. You might be worried about changes you’re noticing in someone you love, or you may already be providing care and feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure if you’re doing the right things.

You don’t need a diagnosis, a referral, or a plan to reach out.
You just need a question.

At The Dubin Center, we support families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We’re here to help you understand what’s happening, explore your options, and take the next step—at your pace.

All services are provided at no cost.

You may be wondering...

Is this just normal aging, or could it be dementia?

How do I talk to my loved one about memory or behavior changes?

What kind of help is available if I’m not ready for “outside care” yet?

Am I doing enough—or too much—as a caregiver?

What happens if I wait too long to ask for help?

Who we help

We support spouses, adult children, and family caregivers; people who are newly concerned or years into the caregiving journey; those caring for someone with or without a formal diagnosis; and caregivers who live nearby or support loved ones from a distance.

What We Are – And What We are Not.

We Are:

  • A safe, judgment-free place to talk
  • Experts in dementia caregiving
  • A trusted community resource for families

We Are Not:

  • A medical provider, assisted living, or nursing home
  • An adult day care or drop off center

A Note from Those We Serve

“I waited longer than I should have because I didn’t think we needed help yet. Talking to someone at The Dubin Center helped so much, allowing us to enjoy more moments together.”

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to start the conversation.
